The Butterfly JH8290S is a compact mechanical sewing machine from the JH8000 series with 8 built-in stitch patterns. It is a practical, no-fuss machine for home sewing, alterations and craft projects in Bangladesh, particularly for people who are just starting out.
Its 8 stitch patterns cover the utility stitches most household sewing calls for, and the 4-step buttonhole takes care of closures. Stitch length adjusts from 0 to 4mm, thread tension and presser foot pressure are both adjustable, and reverse feed secures the ends of a seam. A thread cutter and automatic bobbin winder are included, along with twin-needle support and free-motion embroidery using the supplied darning plate.
The 70W motor sews at up to 750 stitches per minute on an integral aluminium framework with a shuttle hook. The machine measures roughly 355 × 160 × 265mm and weighs about 5.5kg, with a free arm beneath the detachable accessory box, a fold-away handle and a built-in LED lamp.
